We use Firebase (Google LLC) to store and process this data. Firebase acts as a data processor on our behalf.
We process your personal data on the following legal grounds under GDPR Article 6: • Contract: Processing necessary to provide the services you signed up for (account management, match scoring, tournaments). • Legitimate Interests: Improving app performance, detecting bugs, and preventing abuse. • Consent: For any optional data collection such as analytics or marketing communications. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.
We use your data to: • Provide and maintain the app and its features • Manage your account and authenticate you • Send important service notifications • Improve app performance and fix issues • Respond to support queries • Comply with legal obligations We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is deleted within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance reasons. Match and tournament data you have created may be anonymised and retained for service improvement purposes. Please note that completed match scores and scorecards (including player names entered during scoring) are publicly accessible without authentication. This enables score sharing and live scorecard links. If you enter the names of other individuals as players, you are responsible for ensuring you have their permission to do so. CricAce uses Google OAuth 2.0 to allow users to connect their YouTube account for the purpose of creating and managing live broadcasts of cricket matches directly from the app. When you connect your YouTube account, we request the following Google OAuth scopes: • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube — to create and manage YouTube Live broadcasts and streams on your behalf. Data obtained through Google APIs (including your YouTube account credentials and broadcast data) is used solely to: • Create live broadcast sessions on your YouTube channel • Bind and manage RTMP streams for live match scoring • End/transition broadcasts when a match is completed We do NOT: • Share, sell, or disclose your Google account data or YouTube data to any third parties • Use Google user data for advertising or tracking purposes • Store your Google OAuth access tokens beyond the duration of your active session • Transfer Google user data to any other service or partner Your use of Google services through our app is also subject to Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy: policies.google.com/privacy. CricAce's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
We use the following third-party processors who may have access to your data solely to perform services on our behalf: • Firebase / Google LLC (Cloud database, authentication, storage) — Privacy Policy: policies.google.com/privacy • YouTube / Google LLC (Live broadcast creation and streaming, when you connect your YouTube account) — Privacy Policy: policies.google.com/privacy We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your personal data with any other third parties for their commercial purposes. All processors are contractually bound to handle your data securely and in accordance with applicable law.
Your data may be transferred to and stored on servers located outside your country, including in the United States (via Google/Firebase). Where data is transferred outside the EEA, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as provided by Google.
