Welcome to CricAce. Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms", "Terms and Conditions") carefully before using the CricAce application operated by us.
By accessing and using CricAce, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. In addition, when using these particular services, you shall be subject to any posted guidelines or rules applicable to such services.
To use certain features of the service, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account.
We use analytics to understand how CricAce is used so we can improve it. This is optional and off by default: we ask for your permission the first time you use the app, and collect nothing unless you allow it. You can change your choice at any time under Usage Analytics in your Profile. Declining does not limit your access to any feature. See our Privacy Policy for what is collected.
Images and media you upload — team logos, profile photos, match photos — are used to run the app: shown on profiles, teams, scorecards, match overlays and shareable score links. Match scorecards and their imagery are publicly viewable without an account, which is what makes score sharing work. We do not use your images in advertising or marketing material without asking you first. If we ever want to feature something you have uploaded in promotional material, we will request your permission for that specific use, and you are free to refuse. We will never use an image of an identifiable player under 18 in promotional material. If you want an image removed, email info@auction-ace.com and we will take it down.
Users may enter information regarding other individuals (e.g., teammates, opposing players) for the purpose of sports scoring. You are solely responsible for obtaining any necessary consent before entering third-party information. CricAce is not responsible or liable for any data entered by a user regarding another person.
CricAce lets you broadcast a match live to YouTube. If you choose to stream, you are the person operating the camera, and you are responsible for having the right to do so. Before going live you must confirm that: • You have permission from the ground, club or competition organiser to broadcast from that venue. • Everyone taking part has been told the match is being streamed publicly — and for any player under 18, that a parent or guardian has been informed and has not objected. Broadcasts are public on YouTube and may be recorded and remain available afterwards. CricAce provides the streaming tool; it does not obtain these permissions for you and is not the organiser of the match. If you appear in a CricAce broadcast and want it taken down — or you are the parent or guardian of a player who does — contact us at info@auction-ace.com with the match details. We will act on genuine requests promptly, and we can remove a broadcast even where the person who streamed it does not respond.
CricAce reserves the right to actively monitor and review user-generated content and third-party integrated data. If any information or data is found to be in violation of our policies, offensive, or infringing on the rights of others, it will be removed from the platform immediately without prior notice.
You agree not to use the service to collect, upload, transmit, display, or distribute any User Content that violates any third-party right, including any copyright, trademark, privacy right, or any other intellectual property or proprietary right; or is unlawful, harassing, abusive, threatening, harmful, invasive of another's privacy, defamatory, false, sexually explicit, promotes racism, bigotry, hatred, or physical harm of any kind.
Your access and use of the services may be interrupted from time to time for any of several reasons, including, without limitation, the malfunction of equipment, periodic updating, maintenance or repair of the services or other actions that CricAce, in its sole discretion, may elect to take.
We may terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. CricAce does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. You use the Service at your own risk. Nothing in this clause affects any statutory rights you may have as a consumer under applicable law that cannot be excluded or limited.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CricAce and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or service interruptions, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. In any event, our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to use the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) £10 / €10 (whichever applies). Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (UK) or equivalent EU consumer protection legislation.
These Terms and any disputes arising from them are governed by the laws of Ireland, where CricAce is operated from, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your own country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts where the law gives you that right.
If you have any questions about these Terms, please contact us at info@auction-ace.com
